What inspired you to write your latest book?

The novels were inspired by two women.

What is your favorite book/genre to read?

Epigrams and short stories.

What themes do you find yourself returning to in your work?

As many as there are in human nature.

How do you handle writer’s block?

I have written every morning in the past.  I did shorts and was never blocked.  The long work came when it was ready.

What do you hope readers take away from your stories?

Insights into human nature.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as a writer?

Don’t be deterred by anything.

If you could meet any character from your books, who would it be and why?

The characters that I put in the books remain of interest to me.
