• What inspired you to write your latest book?
I am a multi-genre author and find myself drawn to writing something new each time. Over the pandemic, I wrote the Waterfall Way series, a murder mystery series, and that was such fun to write. I am currently working on Jack Solar Journal science fiction adventure stories for 8+ set in 3008. Jack has an ancient iPad, and when he draws on the tablet, his superheroes and inventions come to life, and he is able to help the hungry people of London.
• How do you handle writer’s block?
Writer's block can be avoided by always finishing a paragraph mid way and by writing the plot out before you write. I write as I go, and if I ever get stuck, then I go for a walk and enjoy being out in nature and not allow myself to think about the book until I am walking home. I usually find ideas come then.
• What do you hope readers take away from your stories?
I do hope readers enjoy my stories and that they intrigue them. The best advice has been to self publish and not waste time contacting agents and big publishers as they are only interested in big names.
• If you could meet any character from your books, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet David, the leader of the Vehnans, in my science fiction series 3004 and 3006. He was a healer like me, and I would like to ask him what he thinks of the human race and how he would save Earth.
• Where can readers find your books? Where can they follow you online?
You can buy all my books in my shop Natty Noo in the Carfax in Horsham, West Sussex, on Amazon and from my website
If you order your books directly from my online store or website, then I will sign your book and send you a bookmark.
