What inspired you to write your latest book?

The Catalyst for My Book: A Journey of Healing and Hope. The title Heal the Pain reflects pain can be healed.

My teenage years were marked by unbearable pain: parent abandonment, repeated betrayals, and the grip of an eating disorder. But I found solace in my resilience. Recognizing I wasn't alone in my struggles, I felt compelled to share my story.

My healing journey is filled with twists, turns, and triumphs—inspired me to write this book. I wanted to:

1. Shine light on the darkness of trauma

2. Offer hope to those drowning in despair

3. Guide others on their path to peace, purpose, and self-discovery

My book is a vulnerable, honest, and uplifting account of my transformation. Through sharing my story, I aim to:

1. Validate the experiences of others

2. Encourage authenticity and empowerment

3. Provide tools for breaking free from the weight of secrets and struggles

Each chapter includes thought-provoking questions, inviting readers to:

1. Explore their emotions, experiences, and desires

2. Challenge negative self-talk and limitations

3. Uncover their strengths, resilience, and beauty

I hope my book inspires my reader to:

1. Embrace their uniqueness

2. Release the burdens of shame and fear

3. Embark on their own healing journey

What is your favorite book/genre to read?

My favourite book/genre is self-improvement books. My healing journey is a lifetime commitment and always open to improve my overall well-being. I also enjoy a good murder mystery book.

What themes do you find yourself returning to in your work?

My themes are sharing my personal experiences to help others. Offering transformation coaching, holistic healing, and self-help eBooks.

How do you handle writer’s block?

I really didn’t suffer from writer's block because my book was a personal experience. If anything, I found the words to flow and pour out of me. There were times when I felt emotionally triggered and needed time to process.

What do you hope readers take away from your stories?

My heartfelt wish is that my journey will give my readers the courage to transform their own life and discover peace and purpose. May my story be a catalyst for their transformation, and may the reader find the strength to save themselves just as I did. Ultimately, I hope to guide and support the reader in unlocking a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as a writer?

The best advice I got was to ensure my provoking questions were directed to the reader. Getting the reader to self-reflect on their personal experiences.

• If you could meet any character from your books, who would it be and why?

I wish I could meet my younger self to assure her, she’s loved, deserving and enough.

Where can readers find your books? Where can they follow you online?
